We have a vacancy for a UK+ Head of Insight. This role raises productivity and profitability in the UK+ business unit, through employing a combination of hindsight and foresight to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data collated from internal systems and key stakeholders, to deliver robust, relevant, and actionable performance reporting and insights, empowering Buro Happold to make evidence-based, factually accurate strategic business decisions.

What will you be doing
Effective Work Winning:
- Provide performance information and market trend analysis to improve client focus.
- Support the bid process to increase successful outcomes.
- Deliver timely, insightful performance data to the UK+ Leadership Team for informed decision-making.
- Considered Business Planning:
- Offer a clear view of workload to manage and prioritise resource demand and supply.
- Analyse past performance and trends to forecast future performance.
- Validate and verify potential future work, acting as the main point of contact.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for business scenario planning and risk mitigation.
- Promote collaboration and transparency.
Efficient Delivery:
- Enhance commercial awareness and increase utilisation and profitability within engineering teams.
- Develop tools to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and teams are fully resourced.
- Support cross-region working (workshare), including progress reviews, troubleshooting, and forecasting.
Global Improvement Initiatives:
- Promote global commercial effectiveness through best-in-class project financial management and planning.
- Participate in global improvement projects, acting as a conduit between the UK+ business unit and central business services teams.
Inspire and Lead:
- Manage the Business Analyst, ensuring efficient delivery of projects and prioritisation of briefs.
- Champion equity and diversity, fostering a fair and inclusive culture.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven record of success within a complex matrix-based organisation with a global span
- Meaningful commercial acumen acquired through extensive experience in business operations
- Numerate, analytical and collaborative with substantial experience of embedding data-driven insight into a business
- Demonstrable team and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to understand and influence a wide range of diverse stakeholders
- Broad technology experience; Deltek ERP, MS SQL Server, MS Excel and PowerBI and/or other reporting presentation solutions desirable
- Deep knowledge of Buro Happold systems and processes
