We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Hong Kong. This role offers exposure to a thriving international consultancy, making it an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to build a broad and impactful career in industry.
Key Duties
- Experience of having operated at a similar level of responsibility, providing technical accounting and financial information along with guiding and supporting strategic and tactical decision making.
- Experience of managing a team positively and effectively to deliver results.
- Highly organised with the proven ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations; able to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
- Experience of working on a one-to-one basis and in team working situations.
- Positive and collaborative approach to support and grow the global Buro Happold business.
- Resilient with excellent communication skills and demonstrable attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; the ability to set up and maintain supporting financial systems.
- Candidate with more experiences may be considered for the Assistant Finance Manager Role.
Your skills and experience
- Experience of professional services or the construction industry would be an advantage.
- Experience of Agresso accounting system or other ERP system would be useful but not essential.
- Experience of Vantagepoint or Others Project management system would be an advantage but not essential.
- Exposure in Regions Accounting and Tax Regulations is an advantage.
