Your key duties
We are seeking a skilled Roads Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering quality results
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of road infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed designs, and preparation of technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct engineering assessments, analyse data, and evaluate road conditions to support design solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate road design with drainage, utilities, and landscaping requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards during design and construction phases.
- Support project documentation, including technical reports, cost estimates, and proposals.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in road engineering.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong track record of experience in road design and engineering, preferably within an engineering consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and road design tools (e.g., MX Road, OpenRoads).
- Knowledge of Middle East road design standards and construction practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
