As a Mechanical Co-op, you will learn about HVAC systems and collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop creative, energy-efficient buildings that provide aesthetics to their physical surroundings and utility to their occupants. In return, we’ll help you meet your goals, respect your ideas, and foster your creativity, collaboration, and innovation. 


Your key duties


  • Embrace the latest technologies to improve performance and sustainability
  • Assist performing detailed HVAC engineering building services design and calculations
  • Take part in the preparation of technical drawings, schedules, and reports
  • Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and with senior engineers
  • Ensure service and project work are carried out to an excellent standard


Your skills and experience


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering preferred; however, candidates pursuing related engineering degrees such as Civil, Environmental or Sanitary Engineering are encouraged to apply
  • Coursework in mechanical/HVAC design, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and/or thermodynamics
  • Familiarity with BIM modeling software, such as Revit and AutoCAD, a plus
  • Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner
  • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
