Job Purpose

As a People Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing data-driven insights to both the HR team and the wider business. Your analytical prowess will support various projects and help drive strategic HR decisions. This is a dynamic role that combines analytical skills, project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

You will join us at an exciting stage of our growth and will have a unique opportunity to effect change. The role will naturally be varied but includes:

  • Getting hands-on with data: using the data warehouse and other sources to cleanse, analyse, and interpret HR data. Identifying trends, patterns, and insights and presenting them back to HR and wider business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making and help users expand their confidence in using data.
  • Collaborate with HR project managers, HR colleagues, and cross-functional teams to support projects from initiation to completion, with a specific focus on completion of robust user testing (UAT) by the HR team.
  • Continuous improvement: analyse current HR processes and identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Measure the success of improvements. 
  • Work closely with the HR Leadership Team and other stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, offering guidance on best practice and innovation.

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience working with complex data sets, data reconciliation, and data investigation, ideally within an HR environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, HRIS systems).
  • Understanding of project management and the importance of UAT during implementation.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Understanding of professional services, partnership, or matrix organisations.
