As the Global Learning & Development Programme Lead, you will provide leadership to a broad range of stakeholders across the globe, enabling them to adapt to the evolving business landscape and enhancing individual, team and organisational performance. You will be joining an experienced, established, and forward-thinking team of professionals at an exciting time in Buro Happold’s growth journey. 

This hybrid role requires you to be within reach of our Bath or London office and be willing to travel nationally and internationally as needed.

Key duties:

  • Leading global learning and development initiatives and programs that align with our strategic goals and priorities.
  • Accountable for all cross-discipline learning offerings and budgets globally, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality and maximise their impact.
  • Partnering with external Learning and Development (L&D) providers to create high-quality interventions that align with our strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and teams to offer consultancy and guidance on leveraging L&D initiatives to achieve business outcomes.
  • Assessing the effectiveness and impact of learning and talent development initiatives, providing data and insights that drive both individual and business growth.
  • Facilitate the continuous implementation of the learning and talent strategy, ensuring it evolves in alignment with overarching strategic goals and priorities.

Your skills and experience: 

With excellent planning and communication skills, you can influence all levels of the organisation to showcase the value of learning and talent development. 

You have proven experience in managing team coordinators, ensuring high standards of program management, and learning operations. You excel at collaborating with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to create engaging and impactful learning experiences. 

Commercially savvy, you have experience in setting and managing budgets and have worked with Learning Experience Platforms/Learning Management Systems in a global organisation. 

You have up-to-date knowledge of new learning approaches, including the latest digital learning methodologies, enabling you to learn and adapt quickly, provide ideas and solutions across diverse contexts and stakeholder groups.
