About You
Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to grow your expertise and make a difference on projects across the world? Buro Happold is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join our MEP-Workspace team at our office in Warsaw.
Your key duties
• Undertake detailed electrical engineering building services design and calculations, using Revit and dedicated software to support your knowledge of exemplar building design and performance, as well as an appreciation of a designs embodied carbon.
• Embrace technologies to improve performance and sustainability to meet to net zero targets by 2030.
• Ensure projects are carried out to an excellent standard, within agreed deadlines and budgets.
• Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, other professionals, and suppliers.
• Produce and review reports, presentations, models and drawings to an excellent standard, high level of accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Actively engage with colleagues across disciplines, in group discussions and at events and seminars.
Your skills and experience.
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, it is expected that you would be able to demonstrate:
• MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of workspace electrical design.
• Developing track record of experience in the field of building services engineering.
• Good communication skills and preferably good knowledge in English (B2+).
• Experience in Caneco/Dialux/Simaris/Electrical Planning Design Software.
• Competent in the use of AutoCAD and Revit 3D Modelling software.
• Good level of understanding of multi-disciplinary building design.
• Strong interest in the design of passive low energy buildings and building simulation and energy code calculations.
• Broad knowledge of the political, legal, environmental, and technical issues relating to the sustainable development of the built environment.
• Desire to develop skills in consulting architects and client of engineering design strategy.
• Confident, proactive character, with a growing ability to take the lead in challenging situations.
• German language skills will be an advantage.
