We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our Transport & Mobility team in Mumbai to work on a diverse range of projects that cover urban development, Masterplanning and design and programme delivery.

Your next role:
- Significant, relevant experience as a Transport Planner and Mobility expert within a consultancy environment with 1-2 years of experience
- Assist in developing innovating mobility concepts/ ideas for masterplan.
- Assist in preparing infographics to communicate the strategy effectively.
- Project specific benchmarking on various mobility modes and technology available in the market.
- Assist in developing vision for streets, junctions.
- Assist in preparing mobility reports based on the strategies and design
- Candidate should be able to handle Adobe suit (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), AutoCAD,), Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Additional skills - Sketchup, Rhino-Grasshopper (optional)
- Good at presentation/ graphical skills, communication both verbally and written, able to cooperate with wider team.
Your skills and experience
- Masters in urban design / Transport Planning + Bachelor’s in architecture
- International project experience on traffic impact assessments for large scale master planning projects will be an advantage
Our transport team works across a variety of exciting projects around the world, with work varying from strategic master planning at a regional and city level, district masterplans, complex buildings and TOD, public realm and streetscape.
In this role you will work with a range of colleagues, giving you the opportunity to develop relationships across the business with projects in India, UK and Middle East. You will quickly learn about the different areas of Buro Happold, and the potential for career progression will be excellent. We are looking for an aspiring candidate with Design/Planning as base background who wants to grow his/her career in Mobility & Transport planning. Our team is a mix of Urban Designer/ Planner, and Engineers working on master planning projects in developing mobility strategies, concepts, street vision and design scheme.
