Your key duties

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Systems and Assurance to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and solutions to clients, helping them optimise their Safety systems. 

  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead and coordinate safety assurance activities, including safety case development and safety validation.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders on safety-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the organization, promoting continuous improvement and best practices


Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Significant years of experience in safety management and assurance within the rail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of rail safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing safety management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional certification in safety management (e.g., CSM, CSP) is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with systems engineering and requirements engineering techniques.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations and standards related to requirements management.
