We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our diverse and talented Structural Engineering team in Hong Kong.
Your next role
You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects in Hong Kong and internationally, focussing on project management, people management, client liaison, and technical development.
This is an opportunity to join an industry-leading structures practice, renowned for delivering innovative and architecturally compelling buildings, gaining experience on projects across a variety of geographies, including Hong Kong, China, Middle East and Europe.
Key Duties
- Working on structural design elements on projects as required; undertaking detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings.
- Delivering excellent project work with quality, within agreed deadlines and within budget.
- Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met.
- Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant design progress to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
- Coordinating your work with other members and disciplines of the project team.
Your skills & experience
- Building structures design experience.
- Experience as a structural engineer on projects in East Asia (HK, Mainland China, etc.)
- Broad design knowledge, from working on a wide range of projects.
- Skilled in the use of design and modelling software such as SAP2000, ETABS, ROBOT, Rhino etc
- MHKIE / RPE (Structural or Civil) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
- Qualification with RSE is welcomed but not essential.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (reading, writing and speaking).
