Senior Urban Infrastructure Planner 

We are looking to recruit a Senior Urban Infrastructure Planner with at least 10+ years’ experience. You will be a key member of our Infrastructure group to work on projects in India and across the world.

Lead planning and delivery of urban infrastructure projects-Area development projects including transport, utilities, and public realm-integrated with land use and urban design for city-scale projects. Drive sustainability, resilience, and innovation while managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Your next role:

  • Urban Infrastructure Planning: Coordinate with all disciplines for integrated infrastructure plans for transport, water supply, wastewater, stormwater drainage, power, and ICT systems aligned with urban design and land use strategies.
  • Project Management: Manage infrastructure projects from planning, scheduling, and technical perspective; ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue tracking.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to urban development guidelines, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Sustainability & Innovation: Ensure that green infrastructure, climate resilience, and smart city principles are adopted into planning and design.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and authorities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the team, foster collaboration 
  • Business Development: Support BD team for technical inputs, preparing approach and methodology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in urban/Regional Planning preferably from SPA or CEPT
  • Post-graduate degree in Infrastructure Planning or Project Management from a reputed institute.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience (slightly less or more experience can also be considered).
  • Proven expertise in integrating transport, utilities, and sustainability for urban projects.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Urban infrastructure master planning.
  • Sustainability and resilience strategies.
  • Project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with GIS and data-driven planning tools.
  • Work experience on international projects is desirable but not necessary
