Taking on a portfolio of exciting initiatives, you will be part of a global team, delivering Buro Happold’s strategic L&D and organizational development priorities within the US.

About the role…

Reporting to the Regional Head of HR for the US, you will collaborate with the global L&D team as well as external consultants to deliver inspiring learning solutions. Your key accountabilities are broken down as follows:

  • Partner with discipline leads to design and implement technical development matrices, ensuring continuous development and knowledge share for future focused skills
  • Accountable for the implementation and reporting of region specific compliance content, in line with state regulations
  • Implement the strategic priorities aligned to the global development framework and agreed budget;  ensuring evaluation and impact measurement for all initiatives 
  • Collaborate with the global L&D team and business leads in leading on strategic business and commercial programs, including project leadership, management & leadership, early careers and consulting
  • Deliver bespoke learning interventions (including train the trainer, mentoring, group coaching, learn & share interactive workshops) to help support teams in the delivery of their projects in line with the strategy
  • Encourage a learning culture at all levels through knowledge share, engagement and empowerment.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise, and up-to-date knowledge of market trends and development in the L&D profession, especially in the field of digital learning
  • Offer coaching to employees to support their professional development and build a culture of trust, feedback, and accountability

More about you…

As a versatile L&D professional, you will be adept at providing high quality consultancy services to internal clients, and experienced in utilizing sophisticated consultancy skills in a global context. You will further be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a L&D business partnering or equivalent role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Able to work with subject matter experts to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Experience working with technical employees, ideally in the professional services sector
  • Highly developed consultancy skills with ability to operate at all levels of the organization
  • Able to evidence the development and rollout of programs and learning to meet a range of demands across a global business
  • Understanding of non-traditional approaches to learning and knowledge management – including the latest thinking in digital learning methodologies 
  • Coaching experience and certification a plus
  • Culturally aware, capable of operating across geographical boundaries
  • Mobile - to travel locally and globally when required

  • Salary range of $85,000 - $125,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
