We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing RIC team in Bengaluru. You will play a crucial role in producing captivating print and digital content tailored for both internal and external audiences. 

The Senior Graphic Designer - Data Visualisation will be responsible for transforming complex business data into clear, structured, and strategically focused visual communication. This role demands deep expertise in design, data visualisation, and executive storytelling to create high-impact, executive-ready narratives that support client decision-making, thought leadership, and advisory deliverables. The role requires collaboration with advisory teams, research analysts, senior leaders, and stakeholders across global locations to deliver on-brand, insight-driven visuals that reinforce the firm’s credibility and client value.

Your next role:

1. Design, Data Visualisation, and Storytelling

Translate complex quantitative and qualitative datasets into accurate, easy-to-interpret charts, diagrams, tables, infographics, illustrations, dashboards, and visual frameworks.

Develop compelling visual narratives, including on-screen and animated presentations, interactive data stories, and executive summaries that align with business strategy and client objectives.

Conceptualise and design branding materials such as brochures, placemats, pitch decks, reports, social media collaterals, and thought-leadership assets.

Apply cognitive and perceptual principles, information design best practices, and visual storytelling techniques to simplify complex information while maintaining analytical rigour.

Ensure clarity, consistency, and precision in all outputs, with exceptional attention to typography, layout balance, and aesthetic intuition.

Stay current with design trends and advocate innovative yet practical solutions to advisory and research teams.

2. Building Business Processes for Client Interface

Help the unit’s director prioritise design tasks and oversee workload delivery.

Build, establish and maintain efficient design workflows that align to the firm’s operating model and integrate seamlessly with advisory and research teams in global delivery models, ensuring readiness for expansion with scalable client interface processes.

Liaise with stakeholders and all other internal clients to understand design briefs and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.

Support the creation and maintenance of standardised templates, master slides, frameworks, canvases, and repeatable deliverables for recurring client work.

Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, acting as an independent design advisor when required.

Contribute to organisational initiatives, including process improvements and capability building for visual communication standards.

3. People Management on a Need Basis

Line-manage junior design colleagues and guide them on career progression.

Provide guidance, mentoring, and best-practice training to junior designers and design resources.

Oversee small project teams or pods to ensure quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of executive deliverables.

Share expertise in advisory-specific design approaches to foster continuous improvement and team capability growth.

4. Key Deliverables

Executive-ready visual presentations, pitch decks, and reports tailored for C-suite, board, and partner-level audiences.

Standardised design templates, frameworks, master files, and toolkits for client use.

Visual assets (illustrations, layouts, animated elements) and high-quality collateral including brochures, newsletters, flyers, banners, and multi-media presentations.

5. Advisory and Business Research Enablement

Partner closely with advisory, research and strategy teams to visually interpret findings, trends, risks, and hypotheses.

Present complex business data in formats that enable decision-makers to act with confidence, including exploratory tools and narrative-driven experiences.

Support advisory outputs with visuals that highlight MECE-structured insights and executive presentation standards typical of business advisory and management consulting.

6. Design and Brand Stewardship

Ensure all design outputs strictly align with brand guidelines, corporate standards, and visual identity across global deliverables.

Maintain consistency in typography, colour, layout, and composition for executive audiences while pushing creative boundaries within brand parameters.

Your Key Duties

1. Primary: Data & Information Visualisation

  • Proven ability to visually represent data for business decision-making in advisory and research contexts.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced features), think-cell plug-in, Word, and Excel (data structuring and cleaning).
  • Strong skills in conceptual modelling, information design (journeys, maps), and turning large datasets into persuasive stories.

2. Secondary: Graphic Design & Tools

  • Proficiency with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Flourish, or RAWGraphs (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, plus collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, or Lucidchart (preferred).
  • Exposure to AI-powered design tools and motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with consulting ways of working (problem structuring, synthesis) and a user-centric, analytical mindset.

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant experience (typically 6–10+ years) in design and data visualisation within:
    1. Business advisory or management consulting teams within global professional services firms (e.g., strategy, deals, sector or functional practices).
    2. Offshored / global capability centers (GCCs) or knowledge centres of such firms providing research, analytics, and strategy support.
    3. Third-party business research and strategy providers serving consulting and advisory clients, or similar entities.
  • Proven track record of delivering executive-ready presentations in high-stakes advisory contexts.
  • Experience working in global delivery models, collaborating across time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating data-heavy presentations and visual storytelling for professional services.
