About You

Are you a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) looking to grow your expertise and make a difference on projects across the world? Buro Happold is looking to recruit an Senior Engineer Building Automation (m/f/d) at our recently opened office in Warsaw/Lublin or Remote.

Your key duties

  • Developing HOAI service phases 1 to 7 for building automation (BA)

  • Supporting international projects
  • Advising customers on all BA-related topics, in particular by:

    - Identifying and documenting customer requirements

    - Developing BA concepts

    - Preparing preliminary cost estimates

    - Checking and evaluating existing planning documents for service phases 1 to 8

    - Developing optimisation proposals

  • Working closely with colleagues from various departments, in particular with the ‘Digital Building Consultants’

  • Supporting the commissioning and acceptance of GA installations

  • Inventory and evaluation of existing systems and new construction projects


Your skills and experience

As an experienced Senior Engineer Building Automation (m/f/d), it is expected that you would be able to demonstrate:

  • Completed degree in building automation, electrical engineering, computer science, supply engineering or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of building automation systems
  • Experience in working with TRIC, Autodesk Revit and ORCA AVA
  • Extensive experience with GA communication systems, e.g. with BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus, DALI, SMI and manufacturer bus systems
  • Desirable: Additional knowledge and experience with new digital building technologies, as well as in information and communication technology (ICT) 
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong communication skills, good time management and team orientation
