We are recruiting for an MEP BIM Engineering Coordinator to join our Building Environments team in our London office
This role is suited to a candidate from a Buildings background looking for an opportunity to pursue industry-leading designs within a vibrant multi-disciplinary practice.
Key duties:
Your responsibilities will be extremely varied, but can typically be expected to comprise...
- Reviewing project BIM Execution Plan’s and EIR’s to meet requirements.
- Collaborating with the MEP Engineering team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
- Setting up discipline models in line with project requirements.
- Acting as a central point of contact for BIM issues across all disciplines and project stakeholders
- Leading and reviewing the coordination of MEP services on projects in collaboration with the rest of the project team.
- Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
- Producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
- Engaging with the wider Buro Happold BIM community
- Assisting in the development of systems and procedures to ensure effective BIM systems.
- Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
- Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
Your Skills & Experience
We’ll help you meet your goals, respecting your ideas and fostering your creativity, collaboration and innovation.
As an experienced Revit Technician, we would expect that you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience working with Autodesk Revit MEP software.
- Effective and flexible communication skills and experience of working with a variety of collaborators.
- A proactive approach to your own learning and technical development.
- A creative mindset that challenges the normal way of working.
- Experience of working with Autodesk Navisworks or similar product for coordination reviews
- Experience of Dynamo and an interest in digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows would be highly advantageous.
- Ideally HNC, HND, or BEng in a relevant discipline.
