Join Buro Happold as a Marketing Specialist where you will be responsible for supporting all marketing activity across the United States region for the Buro Happold Boston team.

What will I be doing?

  • Work with the marketing/business development team members, partners, and senior staff to design and deliver all qualifications, proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards, with specific focus on consulting services
  • Full comprehension of how RFQs/RFPs are written and the requirements for a standard submittal
  • Full comprehension of Buro Happold’s portfolio of work, key sectors, and firm wide philosophy and capabilities 
  • Maintain and keep current the CRM system for pipeline reporting
  • Writing proposals for potential and recurring clients
  • Supporting team members on the creation of presentation decks for interviews and informational relationship-building conversations
  • Working with team members to understand current and prospective service areas and maintain and develop marketing materials to communicate those topics externally (presentation decks, portfolio booklets)
  • Work with Marketing team and discipline team members to review and propose activities for relationship building with current and prospective clients and collaborators
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral including but not limited to capability statements, resumes, project sheets, technical approach text, government forms (ie: SF 330) etc.
  • Assist in internal and external communications in line with our regional/global strategy (newsletters, website news, social media)
  • Create project award submittals and maintain calendar of award opportunities
  • As needed research of local, regional and national online sources for potential opportunities
  • Research conferences and speaking engagements
  • Research on key clients, potential clients and anticipated projects
  • Assist in planning and organizing internal events
  • Join weekly US Marketing/BD and monthly global marketing calls

What can I bring to this role?

As an experienced Marketing and Business Development professional, it is expected that you could demonstrate...

  • 5- 7 years of professional experience in a marketing profession with a design or professional services firm, preferably in the AEC industry
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • High proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • Experience with proposals for clients and new business opportunities 
  • High attention to detail and an authentic investment in producing high quality materials
  • Graphis design experience a plus but not required
  • Has excellent organizational and time management skills, and can prioritize multiple initiatives at once
  • Adapt easily to the demands for materials and be able to stay organized under pressure
  • Is highly creative, has a great attitude and works well in teams
  • An appreciation for the contribution that engineering makes to the built environment at all scales

What we offer:

  • Salary range of $82,000 to $105,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
