MEP Revit Technician

We are recruiting for a contract MEP Revit Technician to join our Building Environments team in our London office

This role is suited to a candidate from a Buildings background looking for an opportunity to pursue industry-leading designs within a vibrant multi-disciplinary practice.

 

We proudly support hybrid working however candidates will be encouraged to travel to our London 3 days a week.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to leave their mark on some of the most exciting projects in the UK and further afield. Commissions include the London College of Fashion, UCL 22 Gordon Street, National Bank of Kuwait and Greenwich Peninsula Upper Riverside.

 

Your responsibilities will be extremely varied, but can typically be expected to comprise...

 

  • Producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
  • Collaborating with the MEP team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
  • Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
  • Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
  • Reviewing project BIM BEP’s and EIR’s to meet requirements.
  • Engaging with the wider Buro Happold BIM community.
  • Assisting in the development of systems and procedures to ensure effective BIM systems.
  • Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them.

As an experienced Revit Technician, we would expect that you will be able to demonstrate:

  

  • Experience working with Autodesk Revit MEP software.
  • Effective and flexible communication skills and experience of working with a variety of collaborators.
  • A proactive approach to your own learning and technical development.
  • A creative mindset that challenges the normal way of working.
  • A interest in digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows.
  • Experience and awareness of Navisworks and/or Dynamo would be highly advantageous.
  • Ideally HNC, HND, or BEng in a relevant discipline.
