We are seeking a talented Information Management Consultant to join our growing IM team, based in any of our UK offices.

This role will sit within our specialist Information Management team which forms a part of a wider Projects group incorporating project and design management, project controls, document control and project health & safety. Our Information Management expertise can act independently on projects of as part of a wider holistic Projects offering.
This role will see you working as part of a talented specialist team focussing on IM consultancy projects across a range of sectors, including stadia, culture, commercial, aviation, residential and more. Our projects are local and global, and we work with teams around the world.

The nature of the role will vary subtly depending on your background and aspirations - we are looking for candidates to fill roles that have a technical leaning and who will develop a commercial understanding.
As an Information Management Consultant you will work with senior Information Management consultants to maximise the value of adopting a Digital-led project approach throughout the whole project lifecycle.
You will be involved in supporting a project delivery team in the strategic implementation of IM and BIM through the planning, design, construction and operational stages for a project lifecycle. On active projects, the role involves contributing to the management and delivery of the Client’s information requirements during the project lifecycle through activities such as coordination and programme sequencing & visualisation.
Key duties:
- Pursuing an outcome-based service and systems thinking approach.
- Liaising and co-operating with senior team members in support of a collaborative working culture both within Buro Happold and with external parties.
- Generating reports based on risk, progress, performance, change and quality.
- Maintenance of project information delivery plans alongside the project delivery teams, undertaking QA/QC and ongoing client engagement.
- Establishing the Common Data Environment including processes and procedures to enable reliable information exchange between Project Team Members, the Employer and other parties
- Maintaining the Information Model to meet integrity and security standards in compliance with the employer’s information requirement
- Managing Common Data Environment processes and procedures. Carry out validation and compliance with them and advise on non-compliance.
Your skills and experience
- Experience of Autodesk Construction Cloud including the Model Coordination module
- Experience using Navisworks for model federation and clash detection
- Understanding of Revit and/or Civil 3D software packages
- Knowledge of how ISO 19650 is implemented on construction projects, in particular BIM Execution Plans and Task/Master Information Delivery Plans
- Have or working towards a recognised BIM/ISO 19650 Certification
- Experience working in an Information Management or BIM related field, or a university graduate in a relevant subject with experience working in an Information Management or BIM related field (e.g. as an engineer, architect or other consultant, delivering BIM projects from a design or project management perspective).
- Corporate membership of a professional institution or experiential/academic learning to equivalent level is desirable.
