Your next role
Reporting to the Global IT Service Manager at our UK headquarters, the IT Operations Analyst – Business Template will provide comprehensive global software support to the business. This role is inherently varied, with typical responsibilities including:
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of template changes and requirements
- Work with the key stakeholders to prioritise and build a short/medium/long term view of requirements/changes to business templates
- Communicate and update the stakeholders by holding regular pipeline review sessions
- Maintain and update the business templates
- Work with the third party developer to resolve any templates issues which are outside of the capabilities of the available internal resource.
- You will be responsible for supporting/updating/maintaining the key Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint business templates used by our global end-users which are used extensively for bidding & Projects You will be a part of 2nd line support team following ITIL practices.
- The team will be focused on delivery of 'business as usual' IT activities. The successful candidate will be have a core focus on managing and working with the stakeholders & development partner to maintain, prioritise and manage changes & enhancements to our business templates whilst ensuring governance and version control is maintained.
- Supporting our users across the local region, this is an important customer-facing support role. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who is resourceful and works well under pressure with 3 to 4 years of core IT Operations experience in end user support, Global IT Operational support.
Your skills and experience
- Good knowledge/Experience of supporting Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint especially from a template management perspective.
- Preferably experience in VB/VBA development within Microsoft Office
- Good communication/stakeholder Management skills
- Organised and proactive approach to managing system changes
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or a closely related field
- Three years of increasingly responsible experience in an information technology environment. Demonstrated knowledge of systems analysis and information technology principles;
- application support, end-user support, etc.);
- Customer service-minded and solutions-oriented;
- Ability to exercise substantial judgment and work with limited supervision. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize based on criticality
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
