Key duties
- Managing the day-to-day activities of a team of finance assistants
- Produce invoicing for projects
- Perform project-related housekeeping tasks within the project planning and finance systems.
- Prepare month-end accruals and prepayments.
- Own Cost Reports for Disciplines.
- Issue Work In Progress (WIP) balances to Project Directors. -
- Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks
Your skills and experience:
- Proven track record of team leading
- High level of accuracy.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Good computer and IT skills; use of PivotTables and formulas in Excel is an advantage.
- Ability to understand the nature of the work the team carries out and interact with non-finance stakeholders.
- Prior use of financial accounting systems such as Unit4is an advantage.
