Your key duties

A position for an Associate Crowd Modelling Specialist has opened up on our Program Management team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Crowd Modeller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and modelling people movement patterns to optimize the design and functionality of public spaces, transportation hubs, and large-scale events. This role requires a strong understanding of human behaviour, advanced modelling techniques, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement crowd modelling simulations to analyse and predict people movement in various environments.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and engineers to integrate crowd modelling insights into project designs.
  • Utilise software tools such as AnyLogic, MassMotion, or similar platforms to create accurate and reliable models.
  • Conduct data analysis and interpret results to provide actionable recommendations for improving crowd flow and safety.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in crowd modelling techniques and software.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex challenges.


Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in crowd modeling, simulation, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in crowd modeling software such as AnyLogic, MassMotion, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Knowledge of human behaviour and movement patterns in public spaces is a plus.
