Key duties
- Implement and Maintain the Azure tenancy within the “Well Architectured Framework” (WAF) and lead on large scale projects to move all resources and subscriptions to the Well Architectured Framework.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures and be able to collaborate with non-technical users and staff.
- Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure and services.
- Integrate Azure Infrastructure resources and workloads with on-premises environments.
- Develop Azure compute solutions, including IaaS solutions, web apps, and Azure Functions
- Implement Azure security, including authentication and authorization
- Automate infrastructure deployments and configurations.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
- The implementation of Azure solutions typically based on core IaaS features.
- Work with the Global IT team and collaborate on any global initiatives.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and technologies
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates / Terraform
- Proficient using Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, and other tools
- Solid understanding of Azure DevOps and DevOps processes.
- Proven experience with resource and cost optimisation
- Solid understand of Security Principles and Security Compliance
- Experience with additional Cloud Providers (AWS/Google) desirable
