Your next role
- Hydrological Analysis and Hydraulic calculations: Conduct detailed hydrological and hydraulic analyses to understand water flow patterns and assess flood risks and propose mitigations measures
- System Design: Design effective and sustainable stormwater and drainage systems using advanced software like AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic design modelling tools like InfoDrainage / Sewer GEMS or similar
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of drainage projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements and assist in seeking technical approvals form authorities.
- Multidiscipline Coordination: Ability to coordinate with all key stakeholders in providing amicable solutions for coordination challenges
- Technical Quality: Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to budget, programme and technical standards and meet QA, Sustainability and HSE requirements
- Winning Work: Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals and financial control of projects
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Field Inspections: Conduct site evaluations and field inspections to collect data and assess the performance of existing drainage systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical advice and consultation on drainage-related matters to other engineers, construction managers, and urban planners.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
- Client Interaction: Get involved in review meetings, make client presentations
Your skills and experience
- Should have more than 12 years experience with the reputed Indian or MNC engineering design firm.
- International experience would be an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Post Graduation : In Hydrology, Water resources engineering
- Advanced Qualifications: A Master’s degree can be advantageous.
- Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) certification / Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessment, and technical software specific to hydrology and hydraulic analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design and modelling software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental guidelines.
- Should have worked in SuDS design elements - Sustainable Drainage systems
