Your next role

Our work in Hong Kong is hugely varied but typically includes technically and environmentally progressive projects, ranging from iconic performance venues and stadiums, city-level masterplans, museums, high-rise buildings, and transport hubs. 

Collaborating across disciplines and offices, the role will see you driving outstanding structural and multi-disciplinary project delivery, enhancing the technical knowledge and standards of the team, and supporting business development activities in close partnership with senior leaders in the Hong Kong business.  


Key Duties:

  • Delivering a consistently high standard of project leadership and delivery for the Hong Kong Structures team.
  • Leading and inspiring both structural and multi-disciplinary teams and representing the overall project at external and internal meetings.
  • Delivering high-standard, profitable projects that result in repeat work from clients.
  • Responding to strong local and international drivers for a sustainable built environment – e.g. through the appropriate application of technology and low-carbon design strategies.
  • Actively seeking out and securing new projects which will lead to profitable work.
  • In partnership with the other senior members of the team, playing an active role in retaining and growing a diverse, happy, thriving and talented team.


Your skills & experience:

  • Experience of leading and delivering complex structural engineering projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Hong Kong market; experience in Mainland China and SE Asia would be advantageous. 
  • Multidisciplinary project leadership experience.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of project types and materials. 
  • An existing network of external client contacts and collaborators. 
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. 
  • Professional registered engineer with a relevant institution (e.g. IStructE, HKIE, etc). 
  • RSE is preferred.
